At the Zeitgeist GalleryThe Scarabs, those inept dung accruing lackeys of The Empire S.N.A.F.U. Restoration Project took their sweet time in demonstrating how some things are to be done and somethings are not, to the apparent enjoyment of observers.
Following the Scarabs;
A devastating assault by CRANK STURGEON! (a thinking man from another land, not a lackey of the The Empire S.N.A.F.U. Restoration Project at all) Using hoses and cardboard-amphibian-machinery, this furious fish-man flails and forks in a frenzy of fulsome fierceness every day of his cottonpickin life. He spake at length on important issues and performed auto-duets on a double-jointed-folding-slide-violin. The beauty of his music!!! Wednesday's performance launched the debut of The Unacceptable; A series for music and visuals that are deemed too volatile for the conventional performance space.
Live music, performance, dance, film, video, and puppetry integrate into a provocative, unified production.
The maelstrom should occur on the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays every month at the Zeitgeist Gallery.
Zeitgeist Gallery is at 1353 Cambridge Street, Inman Square, Cambridge.
